The American Beauty
This project was done as a part of typography class and it was deliverd with one line:
Create a “type as image” poster on a theme of ‘American Beauty’.
Solution
American Beauty �" American society seen as the king/the queen of theconsumption and waste. Everything simply goes down the drain and getsflushed. Thus toilet can be seen as the thrown of American Beauty, andthe icing represent just the camouflage. The contrast and juxtapositionbetween icing and toilet puts emphasize on the ridiculeness theAmerican society.
Also have to add that icing the toilet was lots of fun!
